Original Chris Reeve Shadow 1 model knife made in South Africa, serial number 255 on the blade stamped also with the CR, made in 4.2.1989.  The blade and handle are one piece of A2 steel, 55-57 RC and Kal-gard coated. On the Other side of the blade “Made in South Africa” is stamped.  The handle is hollow and the screw in butt cap is D655 Aluminum.  The leather scabbard is also marked with the CR logo.  The knife comes with the original Chris Reeve Cutler label with signature and relevant info and guarantee on the back side.  Chris Reeve Shadow 1 knife.

World War Two USMC Medical Corpsman machete Bolo knife with USMC marked on the blade and scabbard marked: "USMC / BOYT / 44".  The blade is in good condition with some staining and other blemishes due to its age.  The Boyt scabbard is in very good condition with some slight normal aging.  The machete like bolo knife was used by the Medical Corpsman Marines in the South Pacific as a simple and tough knife for clearing brush and cutting branches to ease the movement of stretchers to and from the battlefields.  The simple made design with wood grips riveted to the tang of the wide blade that is formed proved to be a good hand-to-hand combat knife fighting the Japanese soldiers in the thick jungles of the area.   Dimensions: Length with scabbard: 44 cm (17.32 inches) Length without scabbard: 42 cm (16.53 inches)

British Royal Infantry Officer’s Sword Pattern 1822

This is a rare British 1822 pattern sword from the short reign of King George IV (1820-1830) as can be seen in the royal emblem on the guard.  It is made with the distinctive Gothic hilt with fold down guard and a grip of fishskin wrapped with brass twisted wire.  These swords tend to be more delicate than other models with the folding down guard usually broken or missing.  The maker, Salter was the main sword manufacturer of that time, the blade etched with King George the Forth's emblem or crest.  This is one of the earliest pattern 1822 swords. This British royal infantry officer’s sword pattern 1822 from the reign of King George IV is in overall good condition with a slightly stained blade and in tact leather scabbard.
