Schatz German naval clock made of brass. This maritime clock is a very accurate time piece and features an 8-day mainspring with included winding key. It has two 8-day mechanical movements; one for the clock and one for the chimes to mark the time-honored "Ship's Bells" naval watch system. Bell rings properly on hour & half hour in standard nautical sequence of: 1 bell – 12:30, 2 bells 1:00, 3 bells – 1:30 and so on. 8 bells – 4:00, then it repeats every 4 hours. Back is marked: Aug. Singing Bird Mechanical Box By MMM Germany
A unique and mesmerizing piece of old world craftsmanship at its best. This singing bird mechanical box is made by MMM (Mechanische Musikwerke Manufaktur) of Triberg Germany, the company that purchased the Karl Griesbaum company that specialized in these items from 1905-1980. MMM continues to make the singing bird boxes with the same tools and techniques since 1990. The box is made of plated silver or alpaca silver (nickel silver).
The mechanism of this singing bird music box is all made by hand and is completely mechanical without any use of speakers or electronics. Comes with the wooden box case.
DO NOT FORCE THE LID TO OPEN OR CLOSE. IF YOU MOVE THE BUTTON AND NOTHING HAPPENS OR IT STOPS IN THE MIDDLE IT NEEDS TO BE WINDED UP WITH THE KEY.

Large blue industrial light made of tin. The top part is with blue enamel and the lamp shade is black enamel. The inside is white enamel. A very impressive industrial light that probably was in a factory in one of the former Eastern Block countries.

A set of factory industrial lighting made of light blue tin and glazed with white enamel inside and out. Cast iron tops. Rough and untouched industrial lighting. The lamp inside is a thick glass protected by a metal cage. The writing is: vas-fem ktsz szarvas (Deer Metal Works company).

Charleston Rice History Commemorative Plaque
This plaque commemorates the first successful rice planting in the Charleston South Carolina colony in the 1670's starting the rice growing culture of the South known as Madagascar gold. The plaque was approved by the Historic Commission of Charleston South Carolina. The plaque is attached to a thick slice of an olive tree trunk.

Rococo Style Gold Gilded Bronze Jar
An exquisitely decorated rococo style golden gilded bronze jar with decorative lid featuring a cherub and other angels on the jar. On the front of this rococo jar four cherubs are featured with one of them asleep. In the back of the jar two cherubs are dancing with the Greek god Pan. This rococo style decorated jar or box is made in the ormolu manner (bronze gilded in gold color). French or Italian made, middle to late 19th century.
