Joan of Arc Sculpture
Joan of Arc or Jeanne d'Arc in French (1412 – 30 May 1431) is considered a French heroine for her role in the Hundred Years war against the English occupation of France. Joan of Arc was captured and burnt at the stake by the English. She was later canonized by the Roman Catholic church as a saint.
This beautiful gun grade metal sculpture of Joan of Arc in an art nouveau style shows in great detail her armor and chain of armor suit beneath and her beautiful face expression. She is wearing a golden laurel, holding a sword in her right hand and spear in her left. At the base her helmet and crossbow can be seen.
