Bronze sculpture of shot-put athlete by Julius Schmidt-Felling. The sculpting style of the athlete throwing a metal ball seems to be more of an art deco than the earlier realistic style of the artist. The signature of the artist Julius Schmidt-Felling is clearly marked on the base of the sculpture.
