Russian bronze relief plaque of two fighting knights with the writing: "Whoever enters the sword with us, will perish by the sword! (Alexander Nevsky)".
The scene seems to be of a Russian knight on horseback that has defeated a Western knight by killing him with his spear.

Samurai Katagiri Katsumoto By Mizuno Toshikata Framed Print
A Japanese woodblock print depicting samurai warrior Katagiri Katsumoto who served the Minamoto clan and was famous as one of the Seven Spears of Shizugatake, personal bodyguards to Toyotomi Hideyoshi at the Battle of Shizugatake in 1583. The young samurai Kimura Shigenari stands beside him, looking up with a concerned expression as Katsumoto receives discomforting news that the mother of one of the shoguns that he is protecting has accused him of disloyalty and has made plans to have him killed due to the fall of the Toyotomi clan to the Tokugawa Ieyasu clan, loosing most of their territory. Shigenari is worried about what will happen after he leaves the shogun's castle which is seen in the background and is most likely identified as Osaka castle.
This woodblock print is one of a series of prints from the Foundations of Morality and Success series. With the inscriptions upper right. Stamped with a red seal lower right. Circa 1902. Matted and framed unlike many other prints.
This antique Japanese woodblock framed print of Samurai Katagiri Katsumoto By Mizuno Toshikata is in good condition for its age and is highly collectible by Japanese art and militaria collectors.

Jeanne D’Arc 1899 Printing Block Plates Set
This is a rare display of an 1899 advertisement poster from the theatre play Jeanne D'Arc played by French stage actress Sarah Bernhard, at one point in time she was considered the most famous actress in the world, and illustrated by Swiss artist Eugene Grasset, credited in introducing the Art Nouveau style to the United States. The display features from left to right the black and white plate, the brass printing plate and the advertisement itself in full color. This is a rare and unique find since these items are hardly sold together.

Art Nouveau Picture Frame Featuring Goddess of Victory
British Art Nouveau brass picture frame featuring the goddess of victory (Victoria by the Romans and Nike by the Greeks) holding a laurel above the photo hole. These picture frames usually featured soldiers that came back from war depicting them as war heroes. It is made in England probably in the Victorian era (1837-1901) made of an ornate cast brass relief with clips in the back for securing the photo and a movable stand at the back as a table top display.
